How to submit sitemap to Google webmaster?

What is a sitemap?

Why do you need to submit your sitemap to google webmaster?

A sitemap contains all the important information that a search engine needs to know about your site.

In short, if you want your site can be found in the list of search results, you will need to submit your sitemap to Google.

Do I need a sitemap? 

If you don't want any stranger comes to your blog, then you don't really need to. But if you enjoy seeing the traffic grow, the answer is YES!!

Although Google's web crawlers (spiders) can discover most of your site, a sitemap can definitely improve the crawling of your site. 

Sometimes Google web crawlers might overlook crawling some of your new or recently updated posts. 

Therefore manually submitting a sitemap to google is very important as well as regularly checking your new post URL has been properly indexed by Google.

Your sitemap will look like

Your RSS URL will look like
http://365hints.blogspot.com/rss.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

Your ATOM will look like
http://365hints.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

Just need to substitute the highlighted part 365hints.blogspot.com to your site URL.
