Make your post's URL meaningful

Google Blogger will automatically generate an URL for your new post. Usually it gets from your title or the first sentence of your post.

If you don't like the auto-generated URL, or it gets too long, you can always change it.

However it better changes now than later. Because once Google has already indexed your URL, it will get a bit confused for search engines if you changed the URL later.

If it is a new post, you just need to click the "Permalink" at right-hand side, select the "Custom Permalink" and put an easy-remembered name, then click "Done".

If it is a already published post, you will need to first "Revert to draft", then click the "Permalink" at right-hand side, select the "Custom Permalink" and put an easy-remembered name, then click "Done".

If it is a just newly published post, then it's ok.

However if it is a published post long time ago, and google has already indexed the existing URL, then you might need to redirect the old URL to the new one.

I will show you how to do this in next video.
