How to add a Favicon to you Blogger?

By default, every Blogger's Favicon is a  B . When it looks like this, don't you think it's a bit too hard to tell which tab is yours?


However if you can have your own Favicon then it will be much easier to identify yours from a bunch of  B tabs.

And it is easy and quick to change it from  B  to your own personalised Favicon.

First of all, you need to choose an icon in square shape and the file size is not larger than 100KB. This is the only time consuming part if you are indecisive.

If you have your icon ready, the rest of part only takes you less than a minute to have it done.


To replace  B  with your personalised icon, go to your Blogger dashboard → Layout → at "Favicon" click "Edit"

Then choose the file you just created click the "Save" button, you are done. The only tricky part is the shape, it HAS to be the square shape.



Once you have successfully uploaded and saved your Favicon, you will see your icon still is a  B  at top. Don't worry, it is normal that Favicon will not be updated for a while, just be patient and it will be there eventually.
